How long is an ed2go course?
Each ed2go course is six weeks in length.
How do I register for ed2go courses?
Register online by following the links on the Metro Continuing Education website under Online Learning or click here.
When do I pay for my course?
Unfortunately, online payment is not available at this time for ed2go courses. Once registered for your ed2go course, you will receive a confirmation email asking you to contact Metro Continuing Education to make your payment. You may do so by phone at 780-428-1111 or visit Metro in person at 7835 76 Avenue NW, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. For phone registrations, we accept credit card (MasterCard or Visa). For in person registrations we accept cash, debit or credit card.
Once I register and pay for an ed2go course, how do I get started?
Once you have registered in a course and made your payment with a Metro customer service representative, your registration still needs to be verified within the ed2go system. Please allow one (1) business day for verification to happen, at which point your registration will be complete and you will have access to your course. Please refer to your original confirmation email that was sent from ed2go when you first registered online and look for the Orientation link for more information on how to access your course.
What support is available from the instructor throughout the course?
Each course has its own discussion board. The instructor is active in responding to questions and monitoring the boards. Also, each course has access to a help section where multiple topics can be addressed.
What happens if I have a technical issue with my course?
If you have difficulty with course access or other technical problems, you may try to resolve your problem on the ed2go help site at: https://www.ed2go.com/metro/help.html?Topic=signin, or you may contact the Metro Continuing Education office to get assistance.
Will I receive a certificate upon course completion?
Yes, if you can achieve a 65% or better score on the final exam, you can download your certificate.
