Encaustic Painting

Encaustic painting is an ancient technique in which coloured pigments are mixed with melted wax and painted on panels. This workshop will teach you how to apply the encaustic technique to your own paintings. Learn to rework or remove, add to or abrade the waxes to give your paintings either a great luminosity or a thick, matte texture. Supplies are needed.
